Research Highlights:


  • Invited as the only Indian to deliver a speech entitled: “Emerging Threats and India’s Role in Peace-building at Regional and Multilateral Institutions, with special reference to SAARC and ASEAN in the 21st Century”, organized bythe Peace Research Institute, Oslo (PRIO) in cooperation with NOREF (The Norwegian Peacebuilding Centre), at the International Academic Seminar, entitled Emerging Powers in the 21st Century: the regional and global significance of Brazil, India, Indonesia, China, South Africa, and Turkey, held at Oslo, Norway, on 4th of April 2011.
  • Invited as the only Indian to deliver a paper entitled “Regionalism in South Asia: Perambulating the Role of India and China“, organized by the AAPE Research Network, International Relations Institute, Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro (IRI/PUC-RIO) and South-South Program (IESP/UERJ), at the international academic Seminar, entitled South-South Relations: Political Coalitions and Cooperation for Development, held at Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on 13th-14th June, 2011.
  • I was selected as a visiting Professor of the ICCR’s (Indian Council for Cultural Relations) Chair of Political Sciences and International Relations at Dublin City University, Dublin, Ireland for a period of one semester from the end of January 2015 to June 2015. I taught ‘Contemporary India’ at the Under-Graduate level and ‘Indian Indian Perspectives on International Relation’ at the Graduate level. Besides this, I delivered two Public lectures and chaired seminar lectures and initiated a Journal entitled ‘Contemporary India’ to be published by the Ireland-India Institute, under the School of Law and Government, Dublin City University, Dublin, Ireland.
  • Delivered Keynote Address in the National Seminar, titled “Issues and Challenges of National Security with reference to North-East India” organized by the at Centre for National Security Studies, Rajiv Gandhi University, Rono Hills,  Dolmukh, Arunachal Predesh, held on 6 April, 2018
  •  Delivered Keynote Address in the National Webinar, titled “Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose’s Philosophy in Contemporary India”, organized by the Society for Social Empowerment, New Delhi, Sponsored by Indian Council of Philosophical Research, Ministry of Education, Govt. of India, New Delhi, held on19 February, 2022.
  •  Delivered Address as a Guest Speaker in the National Seminar, titled “50th Anniversary of the Establishment of India-Vietnam Diplomatic Relations and 132nd  Birth Anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh”, organized by the Embassy of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, in collaboration with Indo-Vietnam Solidarity Committee, held at National Library, Bhasha Bhawan Conference Hall, Belvedere, Alipore, held on 14 May, 2022.
  • Presented a Paper titled “Nation Building of India: Role of Jawaharlal Nehru”, at the 5th International Conference on Nation-Building (ICNB) 2021: Innovative Strategies for Crisis Recovery and Nation-Building, held in Bangkok, Thailand on 8th-9th September, 2021.
  •  Paper titled “Gazing the Discourse of India-Vietnam Relations: From Solidarity Friendship to Comprehensive Strategic Understanding”, presented on 24 November, 2019 in the International Seminar, titled “Ever-Growing indo-Vietnam Relations: New Challenges and Relevance of Ho Chi Minh” organized by the Indo-Vietnam solidarity Committee, West Bengal, in collaboration with Indian Council for Cultural Relations( ICCR), Government of India and Vietnam Embassy, New Delhi, on 24 November, 2019, at Kolkata.
  •  Paper  titled “Mahatma Gandhi and Ho Chi Minh: The Converging Destiny of Means and Ends” presented on 18 March, 2019, at the International Conference, titled “IndiaVietnam Relations through the Prism of Gandhian and Ho Chi Minh Philosophies”, organized by the  UGC Centre for Southeast Asian & Pacific Studies, Sri Venakteswara University, Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, 18-19 March, 2019.
